A psychological thriller wrapped in a legal investigation, the sequence follows a squad of detectives from the Specialized Criminal Investigations Unit, a serious case squad within the fictional Toronto Police Department. These detectives examine high-profile homicides and corruptions in metro Toronto. There have been a few unofficial “rip-offs” of Law & Order in other Law news international locations. On March 21, 2024, the collection was renewed for a twenty-fourth season. On April 10, 2023, the series was renewed for its 23rd season, which premiered on January 18, 2024. On December 15, 2021, Odelya Halevi was introduced to be joining the forged as Assistant District Attorney Samantha Maroun.
